For The Media

A good measure of our sense of "mission" in the work we do is to help people survive and succeed through the present societal transition
— some would refer to it as a paradigm shift — in employment relations.

For The Media

That mission includes instructing and inspiring people in their continual series of workplace negotiations. But to instruct and inspire, we first must communicate. And, so, to communicate with the widest possible audience, we work with the media.

We regularly collaborate with a wide variety of media outlets in their reporting of workplace events and trends, including CNN, CNBC, Bloomberg Business Radio, The New York Times, Business Week Magazine, and Money Magazine, to name a few. We very much enjoy this side of our efforts.

At the same time, we work hard to make the work of media representatives "easier," and more fruitful at the same time.

Reporters, journalists, producers and others working on projects under deadline can count on our prompt provision of relevant text, quotes, commentary and case histories. For radio and television, we make ourselves available for appearances at practically any time (subject, of course, to court calendars and trial schedules). Still, we appreciate having at least a few hours to prepare and compose ourselves, and to provide you with background material and illustrative graphics.

We do work with one limiting principle: without the prior consent of our clients in each instance, we do not and cannot disclose the names of our clients, or the facts and circumstances of their matters in media presentations.

Media representatives are invited to contact us for any assistance they may need relative to our primary areas of work: executive employment, compensation and severance. Samples of our books, CDs and DVDs on these subjects are available without charge to media representatives. Material appearing on this Web site may be quoted by media outlets without prior written consent, provided proper attribution is given in each instance. In all such references, we request that Mr. Sklover's name be listed as "Alan L. Sklover," and his title be presented as "Executive Employment Attorney." Where possible, it is appreciated if he is also noted to be a Partner in the law firm of Sklover & Donath, LLC.

Press packets are made available upon request.

Kindly address all inquiries to Mr. Sklover's assistant, Ms. Phyllis J. Iturriaga.
